Zest Education is partnering with a fantastic school in Tamworth and is currently seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting from September 2024 until at least the end of the spring term 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

All students with varying learning requirements can use the enriching indoor and outdoor learning possibilities offered by its expansive grounds. Teaching Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS)
– Experience in teaching Year 1 curriculum
– Strong classroom management skills
– Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
– Good communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
Teaching Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
– Participate in school events and meetings
The school are open to applications from both Early Career and experienced teachers

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
