Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a hardworking team at a school based in Northfield. The successful candidate will provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality education to the students. You will be required to assist across the whole school on a part-time basis (3 days a week). This role can start straight after half-term.

The ideal candidate must be able to motivate and inspire the children and support the class teacher in delivering an interesting curriculum.

– Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering lessons
– Supporting students with their learning, including one-on-one and small group sessions
– Monitoring and managing student behaviour in the classroom
– Helping with classroom organisation and preparing materials for lessons
– Providing additional support for students with special educational needs
– Participating in school events and activities as required
– Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the school day

– A passion for education and a desire to help students succeed
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well as part of a team
– Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting
– Willingness to undergo a DBS check
