Geography Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are recruiting a dedicated Geography Teacher for a school in Coventry, starting in January 2025.

A secondary school in the Coventry area are looking for a teacher of Geography to join their team full-time in January 2025. The school has a strong Humanities department and a supportive ethos for staff and students. You will have the opportunity to inspire young minds and foster an environment where students can explore and understand the complexities of our planet and the human impact upon it.

Key responsibilities:
– Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners
– Mark and assess students work and track student progression
– Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop
– Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
– Strong subject knowledge in Geography
– Experience in planning and delivering effective lessons
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Passion for teaching and willingness to go the extra mile for students
– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
