Zest are working closely with a large secondary school in Erdington, the school are looking for a Geography teacher to join them in January 2024, the school are ideally looking for someone to join them on a full time basis, however they would consider part time applicants, this will be for a minimum of one term, with the high potential to be extended.

This is a great position for teachers that are looking for stability, as this role has the potential to become permanent.

The school is located in a highly populated area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport, also there are a vast number of local amenities in the area so will be great for some after school shopping or grabbing a bite to eat with co-workers

The ideal candidate will need:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Geography and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
