We are currently seeking enthusiastic graduates who are eager to explore the world of education as Cover Supervisors in Staffordshire’s secondary schools. This paid role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting without the added stress of planning and marking. This role is perfect for those who are considering a career in teaching but want to test the waters first – no prior teaching experience is necessary, so you can dive into the world of education with ease. All you need is a UK degree and a positive attitude. We work with a multitude of schools in Birmingham that you can experience in your local area. This gives you a unique opportunity to explore your options and find a school you love.

Responsibilities:
– Supervise and manage classroom behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher
– Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide guidance to students
– Ensure a positive and productive learning environment is maintained
– Support students with any queries or concerns they may have
– Promote a positive attitude towards learning and academic progress

Requirements:
– Must be a university graduate (within the last 3 years)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to engage and inspire students
– Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
– Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours
– A passion for education and helping students succeed

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
