Graduate Teaching Assistant (Barnet)

Job Description

ZEST Education are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join Barnet schools as Graduate Teaching Assistants. In this role, you will support teaching and learning across the classroom, gaining valuable experience working directly with pupils and staff. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates considering a career in education or PGCE students looking to build additional school-based experience. Flexible placements are available to fit around your schedule.

About the role:

  • Work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant supporting teaching and learning across the classroom

  • Opportunities available on a flexible, short-term, long-term, or permanent basis

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils

  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery, preparation, and resource organisation

  • Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment

  • Offer additional support to pupils with SEND where needed

  • Hours: 08:30 – 16:00
