Job Description

Zest Education are currently seeking a passionate Health and Social Care Teacher to join a secondary school in the Bromsgrove area. This is a full time position that is due to start in September 2024. The role expected to run for the full academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in Health and Social Care
– Assessing students’ progress and providing feedback
– Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborating with colleagues to develop and review curriculum materials
– Supporting students in their academic and personal development
– Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities
– Marking and providing constructive feedback on student work

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and KS5
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– Excellent organisational and time-management skills
– Commitment to continuous professional development
