Zest Education are working closely along side a high performing secondary school in the Wolverhampton area to recruit a full time Health and Social Care Teacher to start January 2024 for a minimum of one term.
The school seeks to engage students and staff by offering a range of opportunities and experiences that lead to high standards of achievement and key skills. This a large school with a growing reputation striving for successful. The desire to work as part of a large team is essential as staff continually work together and support each other throughout the school year.
The successful candidate must be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management skills and working across a range of KS3 and KS4 groups, subject knowledge at KS5 would also be beneficial. Knowledge of another social science subject would also be advantage
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Health and Social care and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
