Zest Education are working closely with a large secondary school in South Birmingham, in Kings Norton. The school have asked for our help in finding a Health and Social care teacher, that can teach across KS3- KS5. The position will be full time and will start in April 2022 and will continue for the rest of the academic year.

The school is a busy secondary which caters for a broad range of pupils, including a high number of EAL students. The school has a supportive and inclusive ethos across all year groups and sets the highest aspirations for all their students, the committed staff support each individual so that they achieve excellence socially and academically.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Health and Social care and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS5
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
