Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a special educational needs school in Nuneaton.

As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students aged 7-18 in their educational journey. With small class sizes of approximately 6 students per class, you will have the opportunity to provide individualised support and contribute to creating a nurturing learning environment. Working alongside experienced Learning & Support Mentors and Teachers, you will be part of a team dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each student.

To be successful in this role, you should hold an appropriate Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent. Your adaptability and willingness to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, according to individual needs will be essential. Whether you are running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences, or supervising pupils on exploratory outings, your responsive and caring approach will make a positive impact on the students’ growth and development.

This position is due to start as soon as possible and will continue on a long-term basis for the remainder of the academic year. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
