History Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is currently recruiting a skilled and passionate History Teacher to become a valuable member of their team at a well-regarded secondary school in the Tyseley area. This role offers the opportunity to teach History to KS3 and KS4 students on a full-time basis within a supportive and inclusive environment.

As the chosen History Teacher, you will work alongside a dedicated Humanities department and under the guidance of a committed Head Teacher who prioritizes the school’s values and ethos. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the curriculum, demonstrate exceptional teaching abilities, and have a knack for establishing positive relationships with both colleagues and students. Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to inspire and motivate students are key qualities we are looking for in potential candidates.

Whether you are an experienced History Teacher or a newly qualified professional, we welcome all applications. Previous experience in teaching GCSE History is advantageous, but not mandatory, as the school is prepared to provide  support for the successful candidate.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
