Zest Education has been working closely with a busy secondary school based in Dudley, that is looking to recruit a committed and hardworking History Teacher. This role will be starting as of January 2024, for a minimum of one term on a part-time basis (0.8).
About the school:
The school is a large secondary which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a growing reputation within the surrounding areas. They ensure that they recognise and respect diversity, creating an ethos that promotes equality, develops understanding and challenges myths, stereotypes, misconceptions and prejudices.
The successful candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS.
- A strong passion for the subject of History and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be ideal but is not a necessity).
- A team ethos and the desire to be part of a strong team environment.
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high-quality lessons.
- Strong classroom and behavioural management skills.
