Zest Education have a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to either continue their teaching career or an ECT looking to further their already growing career in teaching.

We are looking for a History teacher who is able to start in the new academic year and continue through to next year. This would be teaching across all year groups in the school.

We are working closely with a small family secondary school in the Hodge Hill area, who know and care for every student. They genuinely value and strive to enhance working partnerships within and outside the school.

The History department is committed to providing a varied learning experience through the use of a variety of teaching techniques, targeted intervention and out of hours learning clubs to support students.

The successful candidate will have

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • Knowledge and experience of teaching History across KS3 and KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

 

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
