History Teacher – Northfield

Job Description

Are you a passionate history teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Northfield? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our school’s history department on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualities:

– Holds a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
– Demonstrates a strong passion for History and possesses substantial knowledge of the subject across KS3 and KS4
– Shows a strong desire to collaborate with the wider department and contribute to the academic community
– Exhibits excellent classroom management skills to ensure a conducive learning environment for students
– Possesses a creative mindset with the ability to adapt lessons flexibly to meet the diverse needs of our student body

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
