Zest Education is currently looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary academy in Tamworth.
The position requires the successful candidate to work at an Infant Academy for 2 days per week, starting in April 2025.
This school pride themselves on being a caring, family-friendly school where you will find enthusiastic and well-trained staff with high expectations that all children can succeed.
The emotional well-being of pupils underpins all other areas of learning. Through a Growth Mindset approach they embed emotional resilience throughout the child’s day, with the goal to give them life skills that will support them as they go through life. They aim to provide a socially, cultural, holistic, and wellness focused approach to support the emotional development of all children and adults within the school community.

Key details of the position include:
– Working hours from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm
– 1-hour lunch break

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
