Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Primary School in Ealing
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4pm
Duration: Ongoing for the academic year
Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact in children’s lives? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely primary school in Ealing.
As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping students reach their full potential. You will have the opportunity to engage with students, assist with lesson planning, and contribute to the overall learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
– Providing one-on-one assistance to students who may need extra support
– Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Assisting with the planning and preparation of educational resources
– Supporting the social and emotional development of students
Requirements:
– HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
– Experience working in a primary school setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Passion for working with children and helping them succeed

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
