Teacher of Humanities

Job Description

Zest Education are seeking an engaging Humanities Teacher who has a strong background in History and Geography. This is a fantastic role within a secondary school in the Bartley Green area, which boasts a highly successful Humanities department. The role is due to commence in October 2024 and will run for a minimum of one term, with possibility of further extension.

As a Humanities teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in both History and Geography. The school values the importance of these subjects in providing a well-rounded education, and they are looking for a passionate teacher who can create engaging lessons and thought-provoking discussions.

The school has a reputation for academic excellence, achieving fantastic results at both GCSE and A-Level. They have a supportive and dedicated team of teachers who work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for their students.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Degree in History and/or Geography
– Experience teaching Humanities at Key Stages 3 to 5
– Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to motivate and inspire students
– Commitment to professional development
