An exciting opportunity has arisen within a secondary school we work with for an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of ICT and Computing. The school is based in the Acocks Green area with good transport links.
The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire learners to achieve excellent results. The schools friendly, thriving, and supportive team believe in working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting each other to achieve great things as they further develop innovative teaching and learning strategies.
This is a full time long term role to start in January 2024 with the potential to go permanent for the right person.
The successful candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- A strong passion for ICT and to be able to teach KS3-KS4
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £153-£211 a day.
