ICT Technician, Lichfield

Job Description

Zest Education are currently seeking an experienced ICT Technician to join a Secondary School in the Lichfield area. This is a full-time role that is due to commence as soon as possible and will run for the rest of the academic year.

As an ICT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to staff and students within the school. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting and resolving ICT related issues, installing and maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s ICT systems.

Requirements:

– Previous experience as an ICT Technician is essential
– Experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable
– Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
– Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities:

– Provide technical support and assistance to staff and students
– Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
– Install and configure computer systems and software
– Maintain and update equipment
– Assist in the implementation of new technology initiatives
– Adhere to school policies and procedures regarding ICT usage and security

 

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £77 – £100 a day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
