The successful candidate needs to be somebody who can fit right into KS1 with little disruption. Effective communication is a must, there is regular meetings among the staff, it is important that the candidate continues this tradition of communication. Due to the nature of the higher ability pupils at this school, it is important that the candidate has great in-depth knowledge regarding the curriculum to be able to push these pupils. This is a great opportunity for teachers returning to the classroom after finishing the NTP. Intervention roles are fantastic to help with the integration of the return to class-based teaching.

NQT’s and experienced teachers will both be considered for this role. Teachers will experience in KS1 would be at an advantage. The successful candidate will be given support to ensure a smooth transition into this new role.
