Zest Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time teacher to join their team at an infant school in Kings Norton. As a part of the resource base team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing essential support to children with additional needs. This position offers the unique opportunity to job share, working collaboratively with another teacher for a more balanced workload.
The ideal candidate will be available to work 3 days a week, either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday, with Wednesdays dedicated to joint planning and report writing. Starting in September 2024, this role is a long-term commitment for the entire academic year, covering a maternity contract. The chosen candidate will need to possess strong communication skills, a nurturing approach, and a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
