Passionate about teaching in KS1? Keep reading! Zest is looking for a committed key stage one Teacher to join a school near Romsley for a maternity cover position starting in March 2024. The school offer safe, on-site parking and continual professional development opportunities.
The 4-11 primary school take pride in everything they do: setting high expectations for all. Their children and parents are rewarding to work with, and their hard-working staff have a sense of humour, aiming to make learning fun and engaging every day. Pupil and staff well-being is high on their agenda making it a place where staff love working, and children love attending.
The successful candidate must: be confident working with children in KS1; build engaging relationships with the children; work well alongside other practitioners; have the ability to recognise and support individual needs; have a good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, particularly phonics; liaise effectively with other staff members, parents and outside agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all children. Planning will be expected, and you will be given the appropriate amount of PPA time scheduled within your weekly timetable.
The school are open to ECT/NQTs and experienced applicants.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
