Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Atherstone.

This part-time position will have the successful candidate working from Monday to Thursday, starting from January 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a wonderful school within the Atherstone area whilst achieving a desired work life balance.

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, supporting individual students with their learning needs, and helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with primary school children preferably key stage 1 aged children and possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for helping young learners thrive. The school are looking for a candidate who is willing to follow the schools ethos and values whilst working with a close knit team to ensure the best education possible for all students.

Pay for this role will begin from £80.00 per day and will depend on references and experience.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
