Key stage 1 Teaching Assistant Position

Zest Education are looking for someone who is passionate about Key Stage 1 to listen up!

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a delightful school in Smethwick starting from December 2024 on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Year 1 and Year 2 students in a supportive and nurturing environment. The role requires the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday across this period.

To be successful within this position you must:
– Relevant experience working with Key Stage 1 students
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to support students with various learning needs
– Knowledge of key educational practices and teaching methodologies

Role responsibilities include:
– Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
– Support individual students with their learning and development
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student progress

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
