Key Stage 2 PPA Teacher

Zest Education is excited to offer a unique teaching opportunity at a primary school in Dudley. The school are currently seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be required to work 2 and a half days a week, covering PPA sessions across Key Stage 2.

To be successful in this position the successful candidate must have a valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) with knowledge of key stage 2 curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a school setting, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. As part of the team, you will have the chance to inspire and educate young minds, creating a positive learning environment for all students. The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and committed to ensuring the academic success of every child, whilst following the Ethos and values of the school.

The responsibilities of the role include:
– Covering lessons for class teachers across various year groups.
– Adhering to the school’s curriculum and lesson plans to maintain continuity in students’ education.
– Providing engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
– Monitoring student behaviour and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
– Collaborating with classroom teachers to understand individual student needs and provide appropriate support.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
