Are you passionate about contributing to the well-being of children through nutritious meals? We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a part-time role in a Primary School located in Great Barr. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s meal preparation and service operations.
Position: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Great Barr
Hours: Part-time, 10am – 2pm, Monday to Friday
Commencement: March 2025
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting in meal preparation following set recipes and guidelines
– Ensuring the kitchen area is kept clean and organized
– Supporting the kitchen team in serving meals to students and staff
– Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a kitchen environment
– Ability to work efficiently within a team
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Passion for providing nutritious meals to children

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is recent and relevant experience, ideally school-based within the last 5 years.
