KS1 Teacher, Birmingham.

Zest Education is delighted to be exclusively working with a large school in the Lozells region of Birmingham. The role is for a part time Year 2 Teacher and is due to start in September 2022. This role is for one term with the possibility of an extension if the candidate and school are happy to do so.

The school caters for a wide range of academic abilities. The KS1 department has had fantastic result with pupils from multi-cultural backgrounds and the school is extremely proud to champion all pupils. The school has increased in reputation over the years and is looking to continue and improve on those results by adding an excellent Year 2 Teacher who can bring fresh ideas.

The successful candidate must be dedicated and enthusiastic about the development of the Year 2 pupils. They must also have in-depth curriculum knowledge and be able to express that to their class and the varying academic abilities within it. Importantly, the school expects the very best from teachers and pupils each day so dedication to the school and to the pupils is vital.

Bot newly qualified teachers and more experienced teachers will be considered for this role. If you have experience in the KS1 setting, then this would be advantageous however please do take note of the qualities needed as listed above. The successful candidate will be given full support by Zest Education and the school during the transition into their new role.
