KS1 Teacher, Handsworth.

Zest Education is exclusively working with a school in Handsworth. The school are looking for a Float KS1 Teacher, 3 days a week. The position starts in ASAP and will run for 1 initial term and it will possibly be extended if the right candidate is found.

The school is rapidly improving under a new Headship and senior management. The school has secured some funding which it is currently improving their facilities with. The school has close ties with the locals and is a popular choice with the locals but with this extra funding, it is emerging as one of the best schools in Wolverhampton. The KS1 department need a teacher that can teach both Year groups efficiently so the normal class teachers can improve their lesson plans.

The successful candidate needs to be somebody who can adapt on their feet and fit into any situation. Somebody with strong behaviour management skills would be preferable or somebody who wants a challenge, this role would be perfect for. The candidate needs to be confident and able to communicate the curriculum into actionable lessons for the varying academic abilities.

NQT’s and experienced teachers will both be considered for this role. Teachers will experience in KS1 would be at an advantage. The successful candidate will be given support to ensure a smooth transition into this new role.
