KS1 Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is working in close partnership with a school in Rugeley who are looking for a high achieving KS1 Teacher on a full time basis to start January 2024 covering a maternity leave until July 2024, with potential to extend.

This lovely school are looking for a Teacher highly experienced in working within KS1 and who is passionate about creating a strong start for pupils and who can achieve real results. You must be proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management skills. The school strive to deliver a exciting, enriching, and engaging curriculum through a culture of high expectations and a consistent demand for excellence, therefore, are looking for an individual who can embrace those values to become part of their ‘school family’.

The successful candidate is required to have a deep understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and must be committed and passionate about supporting children within this age group. You will be required to plan and conduct creative, fun and exciting lessons to groups of mixed ability learners. All marking is required to be completed for the following day and ensuring the classroom is left in a appropriate manner is essential. You must be able to commit to the school 5 days per week for the term required.

Both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be considered for this role.

QTS in the UK is essential.

Pay is dependent on references and experience with daily rates starting at £145-£200

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
