Looking for a part time position at a challenging school? Zest is working with a primary school in Newtown to recruit for a lower key stage one teacher to work on a full time basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a school which are looking to improve upon all aspects. The role is to start in September 2024 and will continue until the end of the academic year.
The two-form entry primary have a strong team of staff who work closely with parents and carers to provide all pupils with the best education. The Ofsted rated good school have high expectations of what their pupils can achieve and strive to inspire students to develop their learning.
All potential candidates must hold a valid QTS and have experience teaching in the last 5 years. The successful candidate must be an organised and hardworking teacher, with high expectations of the children and themselves. You must also have solid knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and be able to plan engaging lessons catering for the needs of all pupils.
The pay for this role will start from £130 a day dependent on references and experience.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
