Zest Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant in the Northfield area starting in January 2025. As a vital part of the KS1 team, the role involves providing support to the class teacher, preparing engaging learning resources, facilitating small group activities, and assisting with core subject lessons.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong competency, enthusiasm for working with children, a diligent work ethic, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Excellent communication skills are essential to collaborate with the KS1 team and contribute positively to the school’s supportive environment.
Located within a busy 2-form entry junior and infants school, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. The school boasts outstanding on-site facilities and provides interactive resources to enhance the learning experience for both students and staff.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
