Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Class Teacher to join the team at a vibrant primary school in Cannock. This is a full-time position in a 2 form entry school, with the role starting immediately- Monday to Friday.
The primary school in Cannock is known for its supportive and inclusive learning environment, taking pride in fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere where both students and staff can thrive. The school understands the importance of supporting new staff members as they settle into their roles. Providing comprehensive induction programs, mentorship opportunities, and ongoing professional development to ensure that all staff feel empowered and valued within the school community.
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of your students. You will create a supportive and stimulating learning environment, assess student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues. Your role will also involve contributing to the wider school community and participating in extracurricular activities.
Roles:
– Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons for KS2 students
– Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their learning
– Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall school curriculum
– Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment
– Commitment to providing high-quality education and support to all students

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
