Zest Education are working with a popular primary school in Cannock to recruit a KS2 classroom assistant/teaching assistant. This role is due to begin in September 2022 until the summer of 2023.

This warm and welcoming school aims to help raise the achievement of all pupils in the class ensuring that there is equality of opportunity for all children. The school is also a busy primary school which has a growing reputation within the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be required to quickly build engaging relationships with small groups of children as well as working closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants. The successful candidate must also be passionate to engage and inspire pupils to encourage them to want to learn.

The pay for this role will be dependent on experience, qualifications, and references of the successful candidate.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT’s)/Early careers teacher (ECT’s) and teachers with previous experience will be equally considered for this role.

All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
