KS2 Teaching Assistant – Full Time | Bournville, South Birmingham 

Are you an enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in Key Stage 2? Zest is a trusted education agency working on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Bournville area to recruit for a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant for the 2025/26 academic year.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a confident and proactive individual to support learning across a Key Stage 2 classroom. You’ll be working alongside the class teacher to:

  • Support the whole class with day-to-day learning activities.

  • Provide small group interventions for pupils who require additional support.

  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with staff to promote pupil progress and wellbeing.

This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children succeed and is confident supporting pupils with varying levels of ability.

About You:

  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.

  • Experience working within a KS2 setting is desirable.

  • Able to support small groups of children with additional or targeted learning needs.

  • Reliable, organised, and committed to supporting pupils’ development across the curriculum.

 Location:

Based at a welcoming primary school in Bournville, South Birmingham – easily accessible via public transport and road networks.

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract Length: Full academic year (until July 2026)

  • Hours: Full time (school hours, Monday to Friday 08.25am – 15.35pm)
