KS2 Teacher, Birmingham.

Zest education is proud to be working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school in the Handsworth region of Birmingham. The role is full time and is due to start in September 2022 for two terms with a possible third term extension. The length of contract will only be extended if the right candidate is found.

As mentioned above, the school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is looking to improve on this by really strengthening their KS2 department. With the previous years’ large intake now coming up through the school, they have decided that it is time to bring a fresh and enthusiastic new member of staff in. The school are very pupil focused and spend a large time creating a fun and dynamic learning environment.

The successful KS2 Teacher must be very hands on in their role whilst setting and maintain professional boundaries. The candidate will be working alongside the current KS2 Teacher who is a valued member of the school and has great experience. That teacher and the school are looking for somebody to bring fresh ideas so the successful candidate must have good in-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and be able to think outside the box.

Both newly qualified Teachers and experienced ones will be considered for this position. If you have experience in the KS2 setting, then this would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be given full support by Zest and the school to make sure the transition into the new role is smooth.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
