KS2 Teacher, Aston.

Zest Education is proud to exclusively represent this school’s recruitment. It is a ‘Outstanding’ ranked school by Ofsted in Aston, Birmingham. This school needs a Y5 Teacher to start in September 2022 and complete the academic year.

The school, as mentioned above, is outstanding. Everything from pupil development, facilities, quality of teaching down to attendance. This is a great school to attend not only for pupils but for staff, the staff development programme at this school is first class. It is leading the way in staff satisfaction and not many schools can say that. They require a Y5 Teacher to cover a long-term sickness but the school is two-form so the candidate will be working alongside the other Y5 teacher for guidance with the preparation, planning and assessing.

The successful candidate needs to be somebody who can fit right into a Y5 class with little disruption. Effective communication is a must, there is regular meetings among the staff, it is important that the candidate continues this tradition of communication. Due to the nature of a Y5 class and the higher ability pupils at this school, it is important that the candidate has great in-depth knowledge regarding the curriculum to be able to push these pupils.

NQT’s and experienced teachers will both be considered for this role. Teachers will experience in KS2 would be at an advantage. The successful candidate will be given support to ensure a smooth transition into this new role.
