KS2 Teacher, North Birmingham,
Zest Education is delighted to be exclusively working with a large school in the North Birmingham area. The role is full time and is due to start in September 2022. This role is for the full academic year and there is a strong likelihood that a permanent contract will be offered to the successful candidate.
This school is rated by Ofsted as ‘good’. The schools KS2 department has been improving year on year and is setting the example to other local schools on how to adapt and improve to changing circumstances. The school caters for a wide range of academic abilities and has a fantastic support network for the pupils. The KS2 department has had fantastic results and are keen to continue this with the addition of a new teacher.
The successful candidate must be dedicated and enthusiastic about teaching the pupils. The school and pupils work to extremely high standards and given that KS2 is so vital, those standards must be maintained. They must also have in-depth curriculum knowledge and be able to express that to their class and the varying academic abilities within it. Importantly, the school expects the very best from teachers and pupils each day so dedication to the school and to the pupils is vital.
Both newly qualified teachers and more experienced teachers will be considered for this role. If you have experience in a upper KS2 setting, then this would be advantageous however please do take note of the qualities needed as listed above. The successful candidate will be given full support by Zest Education and the school during the transition into their new role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
