Zest are on the hunt for a teaching assistant to work part time at a primary school in Tamworth.
This is a part time role, Monday – Friday working mornings only up until the end of the academic year. You will be required to work in a Year 5 class, supporting the class teacher and individual student.
The ideal candidate should be compassionate and empathetic towards the needs of young children and be able to build strong, supportive relationships with them. The school are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and someone who can be adaptable and flexible in responding to the changing needs of the classroom. You must be well-organised and proactive in assisting the class teacher with various tasks such as preparing materials, supervising activities, and supporting individual students. Being a team player is crucial in a school setting. The ideal candidate should work well collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the overall educational environment.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
