Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their education? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team in Key Stage 2 at a school in Burntwood on a part-time basis, working 3 days a week starting immediately.
This role is perfect for someone who has a keen interest in running small group activities with children and providing support to those who need additional assistance in lessons. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to help create a positive and enriching learning environment.
The school where you will be based is a welcoming and supportive environment that prioritizes the individual needs of each student. The staff are friendly, professional, and committed to providing high-quality education to all students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable experience working in a school setting and developing their skills in supporting children’s learning.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting students in their learning and development
– Assisting teachers with classroom activities and planning
– Providing one-on-one support to students who need additional help
– Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
– Experience working with primary school children
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team
– Relevant qualifications in education or child care (desirable)

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
