Zest education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Teaching Assistant to join our Year 4 class at a vibrant primary school located just outside Erdington. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing individualized attention to students.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Support students with their learning by offering assistance and guidance as needed.
– Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
– Supervise students during class activities and outings.
– Help maintain a safe and organized classroom setting.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– A patient and caring attitude towards children’s development and well-being.
– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare would be advantageous.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
