Zest Education is proudly exclusively working with a very well-respected school in the Walsall area. This school is looking for a KS2 Teaching assistant to start in September 2022 on a full-time basis for the full academic year.

The school has a highly regarded support structure that guides the children through KS2. The school has invested a lot of time and money and is keen for a position to be filled. At this school as a Teaching assistant, you will receive high class training that then enables you to deliver high class support for the children who need it. The school is ‘Good’ Ofsted rated and has been for the last two Ofsted inspections.

The successful candidate must be confident and willing to learn. As mentioned above, the school will provide the candidate will the tools, they must be able to apply them. Being a confident classroom practitioner is advantageous due to the nature of the role. The candidate must have a passion for seeing children develop and grow, this is crucial to making the role a success.

Both recently qualified Teaching assistants and experienced ones will be considered for this role. Those with experience within a KS2 will be in a more advantageous position. The successful candidate will be given full support in the transition into the new role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
