Zest Education are working with a secondary school in the Perry Barr area who are looking for a Lead Practitioner for English, with a proven track record of success in improving standards and raising pupil outcomes. This is a full-time role starting in September 2022.

As an experienced teacher, you will develop an exciting curriculum that suits every type of learner and have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of our young people. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a successful faculty drawing on your extensive teaching and leadership experience.

The successful candidate will have
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- Knowledge and experience of teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.
