Zest Education, in collaboration with a renowned school in West Bromwich, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their team as a one-to-one learning support assistant. This part-time position, starting from October 2024, offers a great opportunity for those passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives.

As a learning support assistant, you will be responsible for working closely with students, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to enhance their educational journey. Your role will involve assisting students on a one-to-one basis, ensuring their individual needs are met, and helping them overcome any challenges they may face. Good communication skills and teamwork is essential as you will be working closely and supporting the class teacher, ensuring the student stays on task and have a good understanding of the lesson objectives.

The school’s main objective is to provide a first-class education to all pupils, while also imparting essential life skills. Therefore, it is highly desirable for the successful candidate to possess a creative outlook and the ability to think outside the box. Engaging students through innovative and interactive teaching methods will be key to making their learning experience enjoyable and impactful.

This part-time role requires the candidate to work three days a week, with flexible arrangements to be made in collaboration with the school. This allows for an ideal work-life balance, ensuring you can pursue other commitments or interests while making a meaningful contribution to the education sector.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
