Job Description

Zest Education is working with a friendly and inclusive school in Rugby to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, helping them overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their potential. You’ll be part of a nurturing school community that values creativity, compassion, and teamwork, with full support from Zest Education every step of the way.

If you’re someone who thrives on making a positive impact, enjoys working with children, and wants each day to feel meaningful, this role is ideal for you. You’ll gain valuable classroom experience, develop new skills, and build relationships that genuinely change lives. • Encourage positive behaviour and build strong, trusting relationships with students
  • Support pupils with additional needs (SEN) to access learning and feel included in all activities
  • Prepare learning materials and classroom resources as needed
  • Assist with record keeping and progress tracking
  • Help create a calm, caring, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them achieve their best
  • Strong communication and empathy skills
  • Patience, positivity, and a proactive attitude
  • Experience in a school setting or supporting individuals with SEN (desirable but not essential)

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Zest Education)
