An inclusive and supportive SEND school in Hednesford is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from January 2026 through to the end of the academic year.

You’ll be supporting students aged 6 to 18 years with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication difficulties, and complex learning needs – working both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.


🔍 About the Role:

  • Support children and young people with Autism, SEMH, and complex SEND needs

  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning and behavioural support

  • Provide 1:1 support and assist in group-based activities

  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Support personal care needs, where required

  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and development


✅ About You:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly Autism and complex needs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Calm, resilient and adaptable in a dynamic environment

  • A genuine passion for working with vulnerable learners

  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential)

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
