Zest Education are recruiting exclusively for a classroom assistant role at a wonderful primary school in Harborne, Birmingham. The position will be starting from September 2022 and will continue on a long-term basis for the full academic year.
The role will be working on a 1-1 basis with a child in the Y2 class who requires additional support due to being diagnosed with autism. There is a need for encouraging positive behaviour for learning and understanding the need to focus within the classroom.
The successful teaching assistant must:
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject
- Be an adaptable, efficient, and hard-working individual
- Have a strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Be consistent in maintaining high standards
- Can work on your own initiative or as part of a strong team
- Be patient and approachable
The school is a 2-form entry which has a good reputation within the local community, with glowing academic and attainment levels, and focuses on traditional values as a Church of England school.
