Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a school in Nottingham for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team as a Full-time Learning Support Assistant. This role requires someone who is experienced in working with a variety of special educational needs on both a group and 1-1 basis.
The ideal candidate will be driven and compassionate, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. The school values each individual’s right to thrive and be valued, and they are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who shares this ethos.
Responsibilities:
– Providing support to students with special educational needs in both group and 1-1 settings
– Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
– Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
– Encouraging independence and fostering confidence in students
Requirements:
– Experience working with special educational needs in an educational setting
– Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and students
– Ability to make confident decisions under pressure and adapt to changing situations

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
