Zest Education are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a SEND school located in Telford. This is a part-time position, and you will be required to work 3 days a week (Which can be discussed at interview). We have opportunities available for immediate starts.
The school itself provides education for children from the age of 5-11 with Autism (ASC). Due to the needs of the children, the ideal candidate must have experience supporting individuals with SEND.
The successful LSA needs to be confident, enthusiastic and be able to identify and engage with different learning needs. Strong behaviour management is crucial and providing continuity to the class and students. You will be required to work alongside the class teacher, supporting the students 1:1 and in small groups with all areas of the curriculum.
A flexible approach, a sense of humour, reliability, punctuality, stamina, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
