Zest Education are seeking an experienced and qualified teaching assistant to work at a primary school in Tamworth.
This school in particular has a welcoming and friendly feel to it with enthusiastic children willing to learn. The staff are really supportive and work together to keep the school running smoothly.
Start date – January 2025
Location – Tamworth
Contract type – Full time
End date – August 2025 with potential to extend
We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Teaching Assistant who is able to bring expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to this school. The applicant must be a level 3 or above with experience and qualifications. The job requires the Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in key stage 2 but also to work across the school when required.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
