Zest Education is recruiting for two enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work at a primary school in Tamworth. Due to continued growth and the evolving needs of pupils, the school is looking to expand its support team with skilled, committed, and caring professionals.
These roles will support pupils in Year 5/6 and Year 2, offering a fantastic opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a supportive school environment.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support teaching and learning in Year 5/6 or Year 2
Work with individual pupils and small groups under the direction of the class teacher
Help pupils to engage, progress, and thrive academically and emotionally
Contribute positively to a collaborative and dynamic school team
Uphold high standards of safeguarding and child welfare
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience supporting children in KS1 and/or KS2
A positive, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting children
A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
